The season is almost over, and Milan must make important decisions in view of the next one. The first, that of the sporting director, is practically done: Igli Tare will be the new head of the Rossoneri sporting area. Next will have to be the decision about the coach, since Sergio Conceição will be leaving Milan.

Peppe Di Stefano, speaking to Sky Sport 24, said the following about the situation. Here is an excerpt of his words:
"Igli Tare will take office between Milanello and Casa Milan in the coming days, the official announcement will come between Sunday and Monday, and then from next Monday he will live here in Milan to give a different meaning to Milan, a meaning that Milan this year probably never had, between Serie A and the Champions League… It only had it on a few nights, like the one in Riyadh. This is not a Milan to be rebuilt, because we need to be consistent with what we’ve always said: Milan is not a weak team, it is not a poor team, but a team that needs to be reorganized better."
"As a possible path for Milan, there could be a young coach who, however, has never had a bad season, and that is Vincenzo Italiano—from the time of Arzignano, Trapani, Spezia, Fiorentina, Bologna: he has always been a coach who did well and always achieved big objectives. Italiano’s priority is Bologna, but we will see if it’s a deal that will be successful or not. If it does go through, then Milan would have to look elsewhere; if it doesn’t go well, Milan would be ready to open the doors of Milanello to him."
