During the protest by Rossoneri fans in the square outside Casa Milan, the Curva Sud, which led the demonstration, sent its message to the club, the management, and the players.
This is what the Curva said:
"This is the most beautiful response that Milan fans could give: we must send a strong signal. There is no such thing as Curva, club, red, orange: there are only Milan fans and Milanismo. That is, everything that here at headquarters they have long forgotten. There are many things to say. We return to this square three years after the most beautiful Scudetto ever. We return to this square having celebrated the return to the Champions League together with Paolo Maldini. Last summer they wanted to do things their own way, arrogantly, without listening to the voice of the fans, who wanted a strong profile like Conte. They settled for low-profile, mediocre people, renouncing the transfer campaign in January. They abandoned two coaches to their fate. Fonseca was sacked by journalists outside the stadium."
Then came the list of the accused:
"The main culprits of this disgrace are: Paul Singer, who came as the savior of the homeland and speculated on Milan; Gerry Cardinale, who used Milan for commercial purposes, forgetting that here we are in Milan and not in New York; Giorgio Furlani, an excellent accountant but totally inadequate to lead the working group. To him we owe thanks for having taken us out of Europe; Paolo Scaroni, at Milan for years with the sole objective of the stadium, still stuck at the starting point. Mocked at every public appearance. Not worth a thousandth of those who preceded him; Ibra big boss, so beloved as a player, so inadequate as an external consultant. Guilty of the future Milan disaster; Moncada who, with a few exceptions in terms of signings, has strung together several unmatched choices."
The Curva continues:
"Despite certain individuals, despite certain shameful performances, we have always cheered for our Milan. Today it's time to take stock, and if the club’s finances are in excellent shape, the mood of this fanbase has never been darker. A serious overhaul is needed. Your wisest choice would be to sell and step aside, but we know well that these are not operations that are concluded overnight. The quickest option is to leave your position as soon as possible to professionals, maybe even Milan fans. You have managed to turn one of the most beautiful stadiums in Europe into a silent one, finding clients and tourists to fleece. You have killed the passion of millions of fans, you have annihilated Milanismo in the name of revenue."
The AC Milan fans message concluded as follows:
"Today, Milan fans, here present or all over the world, are presenting you with the bill. Pay up and leave as soon as possible. We will not let you destroy our Milan once again."
