AC Milan announces the appointment of Igli Tare as the First Team's Sporting Director. He will report directly to the Club's Chief Executive Officer, Giorgio Furlani.
Born in Vlorë (Albania) on July 25, 1973, Tare has extensive experience in Italian professional football, having played for Brescia, Bologna and Lazio. After retiring from his playing career, he established himself as a high-profile executive, serving as Sporting Director of S.S. Lazio for over fifteen years. During his tenure, he contributed significantly to the Club's recent successes, including three Coppa Italia titles and three Italian Super Cups.

AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani stated:
