Massimiliano Allegri is one step away from becoming the new head coach of Milan. To finalize what is, as of now, a verbal agreement, only the final details are missing, among them the composition of the coaching staff that will follow him to the Rossoneri.
According to what has been reported by those at MilanPress.it, one of the issues to be resolved concerns his assistant. During his first spell in Milan, the coach from Livorno made use of the figure of Mauro Tassotti, who is currently a technical collaborator for Milan Futuro.
In his two stints at Juventus, however, that role was taken on by Marco Landucci, who had been the goalkeeping coach during Allegri’s time with the Rossoneri. This is one of the topics currently under discussion, with the former (Tassotti) caught between the first and second team, which is expected to continue under the technical leadership of Massimo Oddo.
