According to what was reported on his social channels by Fabrizio Romano, Lyon are reportedly trying to get ahead of Milan in the race for Junior Firpo, one of the main candidates to replace Theo Hernandez at the Rossoneri should the Frenchman actually decide to leave.
Paulo Fonseca's club has in fact started real negotiations with the Puerto Rican full-back, who will leave Leeds United upon the expiry of his contract on June 30. The negotiations between the parties have therefore begun, with Lyon reportedly pushing for Firpo to accept the destination.
