La Gazzetta dello Sport at the newsstand this morning headlines:
"Still no agreement for Reijnders to Man City."
Manchester City is pushing hard to bring Tijjani to Pep Guardiola’s side, who wants him available already for the Club World Cup that will take place in two weeks in the United States.
At the moment, however, the English club’s offer has not yet reached the threshold of 70 million euros — the minimum amount requested by Milan.
Therefore, an agreement between the two clubs is still missing, and a new bid from the Citizens will be needed to reach the “white smoke,” which is nevertheless expected in the coming days.
On the player’s side, City has already sorted everything out with Reijnders' father-agent, who will earn more than twice what he currently makes at the Rossoneri club, that is, 3.5 million euros.
