According to what L'Équipe reports in France, Mike Maignan, whose contract with Milan expires in a year, will not renew with the Rossoneri club and is pushing to go play for Chelsea, where he would also have the chance to participate in the next Champions League.
The French goalkeeper wants to leave the AC Milan team and wouldn’t mind doing so very quickly, in order to also be able to take part in the Club World Cup which will begin in mid-June.
However, this scenario appears very complicated given that there is too little time left before the close of this special transfer window (June 10). Also because, for the moment, Chelsea does not intend to meet Milan’s request, which is asking for at least 25 million euros to let the French goalkeeper leave.
