Luca Marchetti, journalist and transfer market expert, spoke live on Sky Sport 24. His words were all about Milan’s summer transfer market, which is still in the works and is focused on scouting, but with one big name already confirmed: Luka Modric.

On Luka Modric and Mike Maignan:
“Modric will sign when he returns from the Croatian national team. Tare had hoped the contract would be signed during the blitz, but Modric is now a Milan player—only the signature is missing, and that’s just a matter of time.
Marchetti continued to talk about Milan's goalkeeper Maignan:
"As for Maignan, we know that Chelsea would like to complete the signing of the French goalkeeper for a not too high fee; we’ll have to see what happens in the next few hours. In the meantime, we know that Allegri has great admiration for Mike, both as a man and as a player, and there is a willingness to try to keep him.”
