At Casa Milan, they are well aware that all departments will need reinforcements during the summer transfer window, including the attack, where currently the only striker guaranteed a spot in next season’s squad is Santiago Gimenez. The Mexican forward arrived in January for €32 million plus bonuses from Feyenoord. Tammy Abraham will not be signed permanently, Luka Jovic’s contract—which expires on June 30—will not be renewed, and Francesco Camarda is expected to be loaned out to gain regular playing time. As a result, the Rossoneri are in search of a new number 9.

Allegri's recommendation to Milan director Tare:
As reported this morning by Tuttosport, Milan are also considering Dusan Vlahovic for their revamped attacking unit, based on a suggestion from Massimiliano Allegri. For now, there are no negotiations underway for the Juventus striker—it's just an idea, but one that could become concrete after the Club World Cup, in which the Serbian forward will participate with the Bianconeri. The former Fiorentina striker is expected to leave, as his contract expires in a year and no agreement has been reached for a renewal. Therefore, the most likely scenario is a summer transfer, and alongside interest from Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, Atletico Madrid, and several clubs from Saudi Arabia, Milan must now also be counted among the suitors.
Vlahovic's salary is an obstacle
Allegri knows Vlahovic well, having worked with him at Juventus. During their time together at the club, the Serbian scored 41 goals in 99 appearances under Max’s guidance. From a financial standpoint, it would likely take just €20–25 million to take him away from Juventus, as he’s listed in their accounts at just over €19 million. The real issue, however, is his salary—Vlahovic is set to earn €12 million in the 2025–26 season, a figure unaffordable for any other Italian club. Perhaps a long-term contract worth €6 million per season plus bonuses could be enough to convince him.
