Luca Bianchin, journalist, expressed himself this way in La Gazzetta dello Sport about the future of Rafael Leao:
Three certainties are emerging. The first: Milan wants to keep him. Igli Tare and Max Allegri are sincerely convinced that Rafa has too much talent not to make a difference in Serie A. They would like to work with him for a year. The second: the €175 million release clause is excessive. No one will pay it, today or until the end of this transfer window. The third: Bayern are in control of the game and can overturn the table, because faced with a very high offer, a discussion would open even for Leao."
Bianchin continued to talk about Bayern Munich's interest in Leao:
"The point is to understand what an irresistible offer would be. Leao earns around €7 million per season at Milan with bonuses, and logically at Bayern he would earn more. However, Bayern are interested and have already made moves. They haven't made an offer yet but could make up for that soon. Not in the coming days, because the Club World Cup doesn't affect this: Rafa would be welcome even at the end of June, even in July."
