29 days from the official start of the 2025/2026 season, Milan is still a team under construction. Tijjani Reijnders and Mike Maignan are close to clearing out their lockers at Milanello, as is Theo Hernandez — although with the French full-back, there's an ongoing tug-of-war, since he's reportedly not fully convinced by a move to Saudi Arabia. However, as of now, Al-Hilal is the only club to have made a concrete approach for him.

In addition to the former Real Madrid player, there's also the matter of Rafael Leao to address, as the Portuguese forward has attracted interest from Bayern Munich. In short, just a month before the season kicks off, Milan is still in troubled waters, with no one's future guaranteed — not even the top players. On this topic, QS headlined this morning:
"Milan, how many stars are still in doubt"
That is referring primarily to the uncertain futures of Leao and Theo.
