Yunus Musah could leave Milan in the coming days.
The American midfielder is highly appreciated by Antonio Conte for his Napoli. In recent hours, the Neapolitan club has initiated the first contacts with the former Valencia player's agents and they are already close to reaching an agreement on contractual terms. Currently, at Milan, he earns a net salary of 2 million euros and has a contract expiring in 2028.
Milan has included Musah’s name on the list of transferable players for several months. Yunus is paying the price for a season in which he never managed to showcase his qualities, to the point of repeatedly ending up in the crosshairs of Rossoneri fans. In the last season, he played a lot, especially under Conceicao’s management: 40 appearances across all competitions for a total of 2237 minutes. On an environmental level, something has broken, to the extent that even the American international has come to terms with the idea of seeking a change of scenery in this summer transfer window, as pointed out by Calciomercato.com.
20 million euros needed
Milan is not taking prisoners with Musah and is willing to soon start negotiations with Napoli, a destination very much appreciated by the 2002-born player. Napoli's director, Giovanni Manna, wants to satisfy Conte in every aspect and will thus soon make an attempt to sign the Milan midfielder. Furlani’s initial asking price is around 20 million euros, the same amount paid to Valencia’s coffers in 2023 to acquire his full ownership.
