According to The Athletic, the Serie A league is in talks to play a game between Milan and Como in Australia.
If everything goes according to plan, this said match would be the first European league fixture to be played abroad. The plans are being discussed for this fixture to be staged in the Western Australian city of Perth on the weekend of February 7-8, 2026.
Right now, however, the match between AC Milan and Como is scheduled to take place at the San Siro venue that weekend. But the ground is unavailable t othe club as it is being used to stage the opening ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics on February 6.
