Former footballer and academy manager at AC Milan, Filippo Galli, spoke about current topics on TMW Radio, during Maracanà.
Tijjani Reijnders leaves Milan. What do you say?
"He was the best of last season. Certainly in terms of consistency and professionalism, he was the best in the Rossoneri squad. City were after him for a significant sum, Milan today is this, we have to come to terms with it. Now we’ll see how this money will be reinvested."

What kind of Milan do you expect with coach Massimiliano Allegri?
"I believe the team he’ll want is one with a slightly low center of gravity, with Leao who can be used in counterattacks, which are the most suitable conditions for him. I hope we see a Milan that doesn’t aim to win by just a narrow margin, but rather the Allegri from the beginning of his time at Milan, a coach who knew how to read matches and had interesting ideas."
Anything to add?
"To me, Allegri is a great coach, who at the start at Milan did great things. I believe he knows what to do in a complex situation like this, I hope he doesn’t fall into what I mentioned. It's not true that only players matter, you have to build a culture, not just get results. And I hope he doesn't say certain things."
How do you see Gennaro Gattuso as national team coach? Galli commented:
"We need to understand the reasons behind the choice and I don’t know them. Maybe there’s a need for motivation, for someone who knows about the national team and can bring the best out of the players. He might be the right one in that sense. Results will tell if the choice is right or wrong. I respect Ranieri’s decision, he must have had his reasons to say no."
