Tijjani Reijnders has joined Manchester City. The contract has been signed and the official statements have been published. The Dutch midfielder, formerly of AZ Alkmaar and AC Milan, is set to play with his new English team in the FIFA club World Cup which will begin in the next few days (Man City will play their first game against Moroccan outfit Al-Widad, on June 18, 2025).
The player's father, who is also his representative, Martin Reijnders, shared the following message on LinkedIn. Here are his words:
"Tijjani to Manchester City! After two wonderful years for him at AC Milan — the club that will forever be in our hearts! Tomorrow the preparations for the Club World Cup begin. We're looking forward to it."
