AC Milan had scheduled medical examinations for Luka Modric for the middle of this week, but everything has been postponed until the end of the Club World Cup. Matteo Moretto spoke about it in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel.

"Here are the latest updates on Modric: the medical tests that were scheduled for midweek have been postponed until the end of the Club World Cup. Modric wants to stay focused on Real Madrid and give the club his full respect and priority until the end of his time there. Until the Club World Cup is over, Modric will not undergo the medicals nor sign the contract. Now, the question is: is the deal at risk, yes or no? From what we understand, absolutely not, because Luka Modric and Milan have shaken hands and made a promise to unite after the Club World Cup. It’s just a delay in timing, nothing more."
