After Reijnders, Milan's midfield could see another departure: Yunus Musah, who has caught the attention of Conte's Napoli. Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, commented on the deal as follows:
"Regarding outgoing transfers, we told you about Napoli’s interest in Musah: it’s a hot lead, still ongoing. I expect the two clubs to talk again next week. I had told you that a deal wasn’t imminent, I had mentioned days: in the coming days, Milan and Napoli will try to reach an agreement on the final fee for the operation, and there’s good harmony between the parties."
"Both sides want to try to close this kind of deal: Musah is not central to Milan’s project at the moment, and for Conte and Napoli, he’s a player who could become very interesting with a view to the future. What I know is that there will be new contacts between the clubs over the course of next week, and the figure I’m hearing—including bonuses—is still around 25–26 million euros. We’ll see if the expected talks prove fruitful or not."
