Ciro Immobile – A concrete option for AC Milan’s transfer market

Two strikers to complete the department...

AC Milan management has decided to renew the attack in the coming weeks, and sporting director Igli Tare’s objective is to gift Massimiliano Allegri at least two new faces, who should join Santiago Gimenez. The use of the conditional is necessary, because as of today, the Mexican is not 100% certain to stay with the Rossoneri: seeing him leave just six months after his arrival from Feyenoord for 32 million euros is a difficult—but still possible—option. Much will depend on the offers that arrive at Casa Milan. The club has not placed the Mexican on the market, but it is equally true that "El Bebote" is not considered untouchable.

Everyone has a price, no one is truly untouchable...

The Rossoneri’s guiding principle has been clear for some time, but Allegri has received guarantees regarding next season’s team, which will be up to the task of meeting its objectives. Regardless of Gimenez’s future, reinforcements will arrive—one of them could be Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract expires in 2026 and who is on his way out of Juventus. At the moment, there is no ongoing negotiation, but the Serbian is very close to Max, which is why Milan must be considered a credible option. The main issue is economic in nature: in addition to the transfer fee—which should not exceed 25 million euros—there is the high salary that the former Fiorentina man earns in Turin, about 12 million euros net per season. This is clearly beyond Milan’s parameters.

By the way, as the 2024-2025 Serie A campaign is over, the AC Milan fans based in India can check out Leon Bet as a new source of entertainment during the off season. It is a safe and secure platform to play great slots, classic live casino games, and plenty of different sports betting markets. In fact, there are also well over 10,000 games covering slots and live casino titles, which do include Indian favourites like Teen Patti, Andar Bahar as well as interesting jackpot games. One interesting game to check out is definitely the Tower x game, where you can score points, unlock several challenges and skillfully earn bonuses as well.

Milan, Immobile is a concrete idea: what happens now?

In addition to Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus, Igli Tare has Atalanta and Serie A's top scorer Mateo Retegui and Liverpool's Darwin Nunez on his list. The Italian national team striker knows Serie A and is a reliable goal scorer (25 goals last season, 32 since he arrived in Italy from Tigre), but he costs at least 50 million euros. The Uruguayan, who is on his way out from Liverpool and turned down rich offers from Al-Hilal in order to stay in Europe, comes at a lower price, is versatile (he also played as a wide forward at Anfield), but he has never been a prolific scorer—as shown by his numbers with the Reds (40 goals in 143 appearances). Milan is evaluating its options, and the impression is that the choice won’t take long. Because with the departures of Abraham and (most likely) Luka Jovic, there are two slots to fill.

Among the names being considered as a third striker in the squad is that of Besiktas' Ciro Immobile. Even at 35 and in Turkey, he hasn’t lost his knack for scoring (19 goals in 41 matches), but after just one season in Istanbul, he is eager to return to Italy. His agents have spoken with Milan, and the strong bond with Tare, dating back to their time at Lazio, is a factor to take into account. As of now, however, his arrival should not be considered a priority. It will be discussed later. Immobile in a Milan shirt could be a low-cost solution just to complete a department that, once again, is set to change its face.
