Milan intends to get serious about Granit Xhaka. The 32-year-old Swiss, due to his experience and quality, is considered to be the kind of player who fits perfectly with Massimiliano Allegri’s style of play.

For these and other reasons, the Rossoneri club is reportedly pushing for the Bayer Leverkusen captain, to the point that sporting director Igli Tare personally went to Germany to assess the feasibility of this operation.
Regarding this market move, La Gazzetta dello Sport headlined this morning:
“Milan in Germany. €10 million offered for Tare’s protégé,”
The feeling, however, is that this amount may not be enough for the Germans, with whom talks are also said to be ongoing about Malick Thiaw, a profile much appreciated by Leverkusen's new head coach, Erik ten Hag.
