A verbal agreement has been reached between the parties for the loan of Emerson Royal to Real Betis: the formula for the AC Milan defender still needs to be defined.
Emerson Royal could return to Real Betis. According to reports from Spain via El Chiringuito, there was a meeting between the agents of the Milan full-back and the Andalusian club.
The parties have reached a verbal agreement for a loan. What remains to be decided now is the formula of the deal—whether it will be a straight loan or a loan with an option to buy. The Brazilian full-back, after winning the Italian Super Cup with the Rossoneri, would thus return to the club where he played during the 2021/2022 season.
It should be noted that the defender was purchased by Milan during the last transfer window for €15 million from Tottenham.

After 26 total appearances across Serie A, the Super Cup, and the Champions League, Emerson Royal’s adventure with Milan could already be coming to an end. The player appears to be close to a return to Spain, specifically to Real Betis.
