Flame rekindled for Serhou Guirassy. The Guinean striker was pursued at length by Milan between winter and summer 2024, but at the time, the 29-year-old from Arles preferred a move from Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund. Staying in the Bundesliga did not prove to be a convincing idea, and a year later, the Milanese experience could truly happen.

The Rossoneri need a top striker to compete with Santiago Gimenez and, according to Corriere dello Sport, in recent days Igli Tare has identified 29-year-old Guirassy as an opportunity to seize immediately. The player, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund runs until 2028, could be a “Giroud-style” striker, one who can help the team advance up the pitch, an experienced goalscorer and, above all, as relayed via MilanPress.it.
There is, however, the issue of the Germans’ asking price. BVB values the striker at a steep €70 million, and the timing — given Guirassy’s presence at the FIFA Club World Cup — is not ideal. Milan would need a player already available for the training camp on July 7th at Milanello: the names of Retegui and Mitrovic remain high on the list, though the latter is also engaged in the FIFA competition in America.
