Santiago Giménez is about to play the final match of his season, the 2025 Gold Cup final with his Mexico against arch-rivals the United States. The match will be played tonight at 1:00 AM Italian time and will crown the champion of Central and North America.
As is known, the two Milan players Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah did not take part in the competition with the U.S. national team. In the meantime, Giménez spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match and also talked about Milan.
Giménez’s words on his stay in Milan and his future:
“In Milan I feel at home, I’m living a dream, I thank God for giving me the chance to be in such a great team like Milan. I believe there have been many rumors about me possibly leaving, but I feel very good there," as relayed via Milannews.it.
Gimenez added:
"I spoke with the management, with the coaching staff, and the idea is for me to stay. I will try to show my best version, because I don’t want to waste an opportunity like this.”
