Ardon Jashari will soon be a new Milan player.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, although still in Bruges, the Swiss midfielder has taken significant steps toward Milan.
In recent days, the player requested and was granted permission not to travel with the team to Scotland for the friendly match against Glasgow Rangers, remaining alone at the Belfius training center, not far from the city center. The newspaper also added that Jashari will not travel to London with Club Brugge either, where the team will be training for several days next week.
In the end, perseverance rewarded not only the player but also Milan, who are now closer than ever to their target after exhausting weeks of negotiations and contact.
Milan's final offer to sign Jashari:
In recent weeks, Jashari has remained firm in his stance, informing Brugge of his desire to wear the Rossoneri shirt starting next season. However, a slight gap still remains between the parties, with Milan believing they have acknowledged the player’s value with an offer between €30 and €35 million.
The Belgian club continues to demand a fixed base of €35 million plus bonuses, but in reality, by leaving Jashari in Belgium, they’ve already taken a step back. Now Milan is waiting for a definitive answer, especially since no further counteroffers will be made. It’s take it or leave it — and in the early days of next week, this deal could finally be completed.
