Ardon Jashari is the man chosen for Milan’s midfield. Over the past few weeks, the club has also closely followed tracks leading to Javi Guerra and Granit Xhaka, but in the end, the preferred option for both the management and Max Allegri has always been the Swiss midfielder.
Just like with De Ketelaere, Club Brugge has once again proven to be a tough negotiator, but Milan is confident it has done everything possible to satisfy all parties involved.
For this reason, there will be no further bids, as reported this morning by Corriere della Sera, which headlined:
"Milan awaits Brugge’s response for Jashari."
There are no alternatives or escape routes: either the final offer—nearly €35 million including bonuses—is accepted, or the deal is off, and the Rossoneri will move on to other targets.
