Gianluigi Donnarumma, former Milan goalkeeper and now a hero in Paris Saint-Germain’s triumphant season that will culminate in the Club World Cup final against Chelsea, is causing concern among the French club’s ranks.
According to L'Équipe, the captain of the Italian national team is attracting interest from several clubs — including Chelsea themselves. The future of Italy’s number one remains uncertain, as his current contract is set to expire at the end of next season, on June 30, 2026.
Other Premier League clubs are also reportedly interested, including Manchester United and Manchester City. However, a decision about the goalkeeper’s future is expected soon. In a recent interview with Gazzetta, his agent Enzo Raiola spoke positively about a potential contract renewal: “We’re in talks. It’s not unusual for negotiations to take this long when you’re dealing with the best goalkeeper in the world. We’re optimistic — PSG is a great club. Let’s get through these final matches of the season, and then we’ll try to reach an agreement within a reasonable timeframe,” he said.
