According to reports from Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, there has been contact between Atalanta and Milan to unlock the transfer of Marco Sportiello to Bergamo. The 33-year-old goalkeeper would be very useful for the Bergamo-based club in terms of UEFA squad lists, as he was developed at Atalanta’s academy. Since joining Milan in 2023, he has made 12 appearances across all competitions over two seasons.
There is also already a name lined up as his replacement: Pietro Terracciano, who is set to leave Fiorentina. Blocked by David de Gea, the 35-year-old still has one year left on his contract with La Viola, but Milan are said to have already reached an agreement for a two-year deal. He has 120 Serie A appearances with Catania, Empoli, and Fiorentina, as well as 28 appearances in the UEFA Conference League with 'La Viola'.
