Luca Bianchin, journalist, expressed himself this way in La Gazzetta dello Sport about the future of Yacine Adli:
"Yacine Adli has disappeared from the radar. Since Milan informed him that he was not to report to training camp on July 7, Adli has only been seen on social media, training with a personal coach. Over the years, Adli has never stirred controversy, and it's hard to imagine he would start now. Starting Monday, he will train with Milan Futuro, a Serie D team, even though, before physical issues in the last season, he was a regular starter for Fiorentina. He will wait for the market to bring him the right opportunity.
In this transfer window, Adli said 'no, thank you' to Spartak Moscow, who would have gladly brought him to Russia. Yacine sees himself only at Milan, but if there must be an alternative, he is looking for a club in a more prestigious league, one that starts the season with ambitions of qualifying for Europe. A few weeks ago, he let Fiorentina know he didn’t want to continue with the Viola – he was aiming to fight for a place at Milan – and it’s likely he will end up making a decision only in August, when transfer opportunities multiply. Until then, he will keep hoping that the impossible happens and Allegri recalls him from exile."
