These are the first words of Pervis Estupiñán as a new Rossoneri player. The left-back, who has joined from Brighton, was interviewed by Milan TV.
“I’m very happy and excited, because a dream I’ve had since I was a child is coming true—playing for a big club. Now that my dream has become reality, I’m really overjoyed. I believe all the hard work was worth it, and now I’m eager to get started and do well.”

“From the moment my agent told me about Milan’s interest, it immediately felt like a great opportunity, because we’re talking about a top club. And it’s not just me saying it, everyone knows what kind of team Milan is. When a club like that is thinking of you and you receive an offer, you naturally want to listen carefully. I’m really happy and incredibly eager to begin.”
Estupinan added:
“I’m very happy to be playing alongside a player like Leão. I’ve always admired him, and I’m sure I’ll learn a lot from him. I’ll try to support him in my own way to strengthen the left flank.”
On being coached by Roberto De Zerbi and if they talked about Milan:
“No, we didn’t speak about Milan specifically, but at Brighton, when I was coached by Mister De Zerbi, he always spoke highly of Serie A. He would tell us how passionate the fans are about football there, something that reminded him of South American football."
Estupinan also said:
"As a South American, that fills you with pride—and now I’m here to experience all of that.”
