Coach Massimiliano Allegri spoke to Milan TV’s microphones after yesterday’s 4-2 friendly win against Liverpool. These were his statements:
“It was a good match, a great training session for us. We played against a very strong team. The important thing is to maintain balance, because we’re still at the beginning and the season hasn’t started yet with the matches that really matter."

Allegri continued:
"We need to keep working this way, and above all, the players are showing a positive attitude. On the pitch, they’re helping each other a lot, and that’s something very important when it comes to the result. Then of course, when you win, you always feel good, but I believe the most important thing right now is to keep working calmly, with balance, without getting carried away when we win and without getting down when we lose.”
What satisfied you the most? Allegri replied:
“We managed to build from the back with good clarity. It wasn’t easy because they were pressing a lot and very aggressively. It was a good test, another step forward. I’m very pleased with the attitude and especially with the balance we need to maintain when we win games.”
