Today's reports from Belgium do not bring any major updates regarding the Ardon Jashari situation, but they confirm what has emerged several times in recent weeks and, above all, in recent hours: "Milan," writes Nieuwsblad, "is eager to strengthen its squad with Ardon Jashari, but Club Brugge does not want to give in. Despite the difficult negotiations, Jashari himself still wants to move to the Serie A giants." HLN adds a very significant detail: "The Swiss midfielder has made it known that he no longer wants to play for Brugge."
The situation
Milan's offer for Jashari is structured as follows: €33.5 million as a fixed fee, plus €2 million if the Rossoneri qualify for the Champions League at least once in the next five years. The remaining €2 million, which brings the total package to €38 million, are more complicated to achieve. Essentially, we are talking about €35.5 million that are practically guaranteed, for a player whom Brugge bought from Luzern just a year ago for €6 million and who is doing everything he can to join Milan.
Club Brugge has not officially rejected the offer yet, but that is the indication coming from the club's management. Milan, however, is not backing down and intends to resume diplomatic talks to try and complete what is proving to be the most complicated deal of the year, as relayed via Milan News.
