Luca Bianchin, journalist for La Gazzetta dello Sport, spoke about a possible tactical evolution for Milan under Massimiliano Allegri:
"Milan, like America's Cup boats maneuvering before the starting line, made a tactical tack before the beginning: they were expected to line up in a straightforward 4-3-3, but showed up in an alternative version. A definitive choice? Calm down... It's impossible to predict today what Milan will look like in September, it's an equation with six, seven, maybe even eight unknowns."
Will Ardon Jashari arrive? Who will be the center-forward? What condition will the key players be in?
"Some certainties, however, do exist. The three-man defense has become more than just an alternative: it's now the first option for Milan 2025-26. Later, we'll see. It's very likely that Allegri will make adjustments throughout the season depending on the moment, injuries, opponents, and overall condition."
