Yunus Musah and a future still entirely to be written.
In his introductory conversation with the press, Igli Tare had been rather categorical: the American is a good player, but he does not have the right technical qualities for Massimiliano Allegri's idea of football. And in the midfield pairing game, the former Valencia man appears superfluous, so much so that he clearly remains a player on the market.

Napoli no longer an option?
In the first half of June, Musah was truly one step away from Napoli, at the express request of Conte. The deal was nearing completion on the basis of €25 million before a sudden halt over the issue of bonuses. Milan was demanding a sum between €3–4 million; Manna said no, blowing up the operation. Talks between the clubs have not resumed since.
Agents and intermediaries are still working to try and find a high-level destination for Musah. West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Wolves have gone no further than timid inquiries, and as things stand, there are no expected developments in the immediate future, as reported by Calciomercato.com.
What does the future look like for Yunus Musah?
Milan is now forced to reconsider its plans, most likely, the valuation of nearly €30 million is discouraging any suitors. The market is still long, even for Yunus: the American midfielder is destined to leave Milan. It remains to be seen whether opportunities will arise, perhaps in Spain or France.
