During the usual video update on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, colleague Matteo Moretto provided an update not only on Milan’s incoming transfer market, discussing the Guela Doué deal, but also on potential departures.
"Doué’s chances have significantly declined, because from a financial standpoint, Milan is not convinced about proceeding with this kind of deal. Furthermore, as we’ve often reported, Strasbourg are asking around €30 million, bonuses included, and the relations with Chelsea, given that Strasbourg is part of the Blues’ network, are very cold. As of today, Doué is losing ground, and Milan is considering going for a different profile, especially in financial terms, because whatever funds could be saved from not signing a right-back might then be redirected, partially toward a striker and potentially toward Jashari."
