Fabio Capello, former Rossoneri coach, commented as follows in the pages of La Gazzetta dello Sport on the possible arrival of Dusan Vlahovic at Milan:
“Vlahovic – Milan, is it a pact that must happen? I won’t go into the economic considerations, whose complexities we cannot fully know. Let’s rather focus on the technical and tactical matters, starting from a detail that is not really a detail: the Rossoneri are coached by Massimiliano Allegri, someone who knows the Juve striker very well."

Capello continued:
"What does that mean? Simple: if Max believes that Vlahovic fits well with his current team, he will have his good reasons. He saw him day after day in training for two and a half years, he knows the player’s and the man’s strengths and weaknesses. Because we only see the match on Sunday, but a coach lives the player all week long, grasping even his unexpressed potential.”
