Watch out for Malick Thiaw...
The German defender could leave Milan at the end of this transfer window. According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Newcastle have renewed contacts to try and sign the centre-back and are now considering submitting an official offer to the Rossoneri.

Thiaw rejected Como already...
It’s worth remembering that at the beginning of July, Thiaw turned down a move to Como, despite the club having reached a full agreement with Milan for a permanent transfer worth €25 million and a contract worth €4 million per year for the player. Crystal Palace had also shown interest. However, Thiaw’s intention, if he were to leave Milan, is to join a club that plays in European competitions, something Newcastle can offer with their Champions League participation. Currently, the player is under contract until 2027.
