In the long interview granted to Corriere dello Sport in today’s edition, Kevin De Bruyne, Napoli’s blockbuster summer signing, spoke about the possible title contenders as well as Luka Modric, the legendary Croatian midfielder who signed for Max Allegri’s AC Milan.

Question: which teams will battle with you for the Scudetto?
"Well, there are always Inter and Milan. Juve. Atalanta are doing good work and Roma and Lazio also have strong squads. There are many really, really strong teams."
Napoli vs Milan, Kevin De Bruyne vs Luka Modric: lights at the Maradona and at San Siro stadiums. What kind of show will this clash be?
"I know Luka quite well because he’s Kovacic’s best friend, we’ve spoken a few times and he’s a very decent guy. I respect him a lot. I’m happy to meet him and play against him; he’s had an incredible career. I hope the matches between us will be great games."
