Further updates on the potential transfer of Malick Thiaw.
According to Sky Sport Deutschland, Newcastle have reached an agreement with the German defender on a four-year contract. What remains now is to convince Milan, who have received an initial official offer of 30 million euros. However, Massimiliano Allegri has no intention of letting the player go, as he considers him an important part of the squad.

Thiaw already turned down Como in July
It’s worth recalling that at the beginning of July, Thiaw turned down Como, who had reached an agreement with Milan for a permanent transfer worth €25 million, along with a €4 million salary for the player. Crystal Palace had also shown interest. However, Thiaw’s preference, should he leave Milan, is to join a club that plays in European competitions, and Newcastle could offer him the stage of the Champions League. The player is currently under contract until 2027.
