Today, the Rossoneri are also expected to finalize the arrival of Zachary Athekame, a 2004-born right-back from Young Boys. The deal is worth 9 million euros, bonuses included, and the Swiss player will sign a four-year contract with an option for an additional season.
Athekame is expected in Milan in the coming hours for his medical examinations and the signing, and it is not ruled out that he could join the Milan squad for the two friendlies in England against Leeds and Chelsea, scheduled for Saturday in Dublin and Sunday in London respectively. These are the last two tests for Allegri’s Milan before the official debut on August 17 in the Coppa Italia against Bari at San Siro.
