Malick Thiaw is set for a new adventure away from the San Siro. He will move to Newcastle where he will reunite with former teammate in Rossoneri colours, Sandro Tonali.
To replace the German central defender, it seems that the choice has fallen on Genoa's Belgian player, Koni De Winter, who is an ex Juventus player. Massimiliano Allegri is familiar with him and has given the 'go-ahead' for the transfer.
According to the latest updates relayed via Matteo Moretto, the deal is done for the 23-year-old centre-back. Verbal agreement reached with Genoa for a figure around 20 million euros.
There are still some minor details remaining to iron out before giving the green light for the player to undergo medical examinations and fitness tests. A contract is reportedly ready for 4 years.
