AC Milan’s transfer focus is on securing a new centre-back: Tare and Furlani must bring in a defender for Allegri’s squad as soon as possible, especially with the first official match of next week approaching.
Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, reports on X that the current top target is Koni De Winter of Genoa:
“Milan plan to reach an agreement with De Winter first, and then seek an understanding with Genoa. The deal is valued at around €18–20 million plus bonuses or a resale percentage.”
For the record, the 23-year-old Belgian central defender is a former Juventus player. He stands at 191 centimetres tall. His contract with Genoa runs until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his value is around 22 million euros.
