AC Milan are ready to kick off their season: tomorrow, Sunday, August 17 at 9:15 PM CEST, the Rossoneri will face Bari at San Siro in the First Round of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa. The match will mark the official start of the new campaign for Allegri’s side, just six days before their Serie A opener against Cremonese (August 23).

The final training session is still to come and could provide Massimiliano Allegri with fresh indications, but the (suspended) coach is leaning toward sticking with a three-man defense. New arrival De Winter will start on the bench: in front of Maignan, the trio of Tomori, Gabbia, and Pavlovic will line up.
On the flanks, Alexis Saelemaekers is set to start on the right with Pervis Estupiñán on the opposite side. In midfield, the three selected are expected to be Ricci as the holding midfielder, with Loftus-Cheek and Fofana supporting him as the box-to-box mezzali. In attack, the guaranteed pair is Pulisic and Leão.
This means Jashari and Modrić, as well as Santiago Giménez, will begin on the bench: all three still need time to reach full fitness and match rhythm. Also available will be the new signing Zachary Athekame, as reported by Milannews.it.
Milan's possible lineup vs Bari:
(3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Ricci, Fofana, Estupinan; Pulisic, Leao.
