AC Milan have secured the arrival of Victor Boniface with medical tests and minor details to be sorted out.
The Nigerian centre-forward, formerly of Bodo/Glimt, is ready to leave his current club, Bayer Leverkusen, in favour of a move to the Rossoneri, a team he is familiar with since he scored against them in the UEFA Champions League competition last season.
Here's what Gianluca Di Marzio had to say:
"Milan, the final details with Boniface have also been settled: only the medical exams are awaited," as relayed and confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia.
Yesterday, the RedBird-owned club reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for a loan with an option to buy, while today an agreement was also reached with the Nigerian player, who is now expected in Milan for the customary medical exams and then to sign the contract.
