In yesterday’s press conference, head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who previewed Milan - Cremonese, was his usual ironic and sly self. As always, he slipped in some of his Tuscan sayings, which he uses to lighten the atmosphere and take pressure off his players:
"Talk gets carried away by the wind, and bicycles by the people of Livorno. It’s the pitch that has to do the talking. There are good players and poor players; you can improve or you can get worse. In football, you have to know how to manage the unexpected. For many years, I’ve started out with one idea in mind and then changed it. Last year a lot of things happened, and I know we have to improve."

Starting tonight at San Siro, Allegri is expecting a lot from Fofana and Loftus-Cheek, writes today’s edition of Tuttosport.
The two will need to make up for Tijjani Reijnders’ departure in terms of goals:
"Loftus and Fofana have both technique and physicality: by the end of the season, between the two of them, they need to score at least 15 goals."
It’s an important challenge for the pair, but especially for Loftus.
After a difficult season due to physical issues, the Englishman needs to get back on track. Allegri is counting heavily on him.
