How are you experiencing this new start to the season?
“We feel good. We’re all ready for this season. Tonight will be a tough match because it marks the beginning of a new campaign, but we feel good. So we’re ready for tonight.”
You worked a lot during preseason to be prepared for the start of the campaign. Loftus-Cheek answered:
“We’ve worked hard, tactically and physically, but I think the mental side is even more important. A new season, at San Siro. Mentally, it’s crucial to start well tonight, and we’re ready.”
Are you ready to rediscover the feeling of scoring goals?
“We have to try. The coach believes in us, and I believe in myself. I’ll give it a go. Two seasons ago I scored 10 goals, so I know I can do it.”
