Igli Tare spoke to DAZN ahead of the Serie A match between Milan and Cremonese. Here are his statements:
What’s happening with Victor Boniface?
“There weren’t any additional medical tests. We were already aware of the issues from his past, and we’re making all the necessary evaluations regarding the player’s health. His qualities are unquestionable. We’re just trying to make the right decision in this situation.”
Will you make that decision soon? Tare added:
“Of course, after all, the transfer market closes soon (he laughs). Very shortly we’ll sit down together with the coach and make a final decision. A deadline? We’re not putting pressure on ourselves, if anything, we’ll put it on others.”

Are you satisfied with the sales?
“You did well to ask me this question. Behind all the work done in these past three months there is a decisive group. Together with Furlani, Ibra, Moncada and Allegri himself, who with his staff did an exceptional job in enhancing the value of the players we sold. It has been fantastic work by this entire group: everyone has an important role.”
Should we expect any more departures like Yunus Musah and Samuel Chukwueze?
“We are evaluating all these situations. Playing one match per week together with Max, we are considering the best choices to make. We definitely want to build a fantastic and strong group, a determined team. This club and this stadium deserve it.”
What are your feelings? Tare commented:
“I am very emotional, like anyone who has worn this shirt. Working for this club is a great dream for me. At the same time, I know what it means to work, so I bring great humility, great desire, and determination. The history of this club teaches you that victories are what count.”
Did coach Massimiliano Allegri ask you for another center-back?
“No.”
