AC Milan’s goal crisis could (perhaps) be solved by a 2005-born striker: Conrad Harder of Sporting Lisbon. The Dane is considered a centre-forward with great potential, according to those who have watched him closely.
But is Conrad Harder really the answer to Massimiliano Allegri’s attacking problems?
After yesterday morning’s summit between the ex Juventus coach and the Rossoneri management, it seemed that Dusan Vlahovic’s name was fading from the list of attacking targets. Yet by early afternoon, Harder’s name had started gaining traction, helped by the morning visit of his agent to the club’s headquarters.

For now, the Danish striker has yet to fully showcase all his qualities. Despite an extraordinary youth career, he has just surpassed 20 goals in more than 70 senior appearances, underlining that his transition to the professional stage has not been straightforward.
Still, La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition explained that the Conrad Harder deal would align perfectly with Milan’s corporate strategy: investing in a talented youngster with the aim of turning him into a major performer at San Siro and thus increasing his market value. The expected terms are around 24 million euros plus a possible 3 million euros in bonuses to Sporting, who would also retain a percentage on any future resale.
Following the positive developments of yesterday, another meeting between the Rossoneri management and Harder’s agent is scheduled for today. The goal is to accelerate talks and close the deal as quickly as possible, in order to get ahead of competition from Rennes.
