Given the circumstances, one might have thought that, with six days left before the transfer window closes, the Dusan Vlahovic situation would already be resolved. Yet not only is there still no solution to this puzzle, but the striker himself has made things even more complicated with his goal against Parma.
His contract expires in less than a year, and there is still no clear exit path from Juventus for the Serbian forward, who today looks much more likely to stay, especially now that Milan have decisively moved for Harder.
This morning, QS commented on the Vlahovic case, putting Milan and Juventus on the same level, with the Serbian striker acting as the link between them. The newspaper writes:
"Milan and Juventus united and divided by Vlahovic."
The subtitle explains the meaning of this phrase: “Allegri wants him, but the Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Harder. Tudor would keep Dusan, the Juventus management would not.” In other words, both coaches are keen on Vlahovic, but neither club really wants him. A situation that will need to be resolved one way or another.
