In his usual Wednesday editorial on TMW, journalist Fabrizio Biasin expressed his opinion on AC Milan’s current management, focusing particularly on the Rossoneri CEO Giorgio Furlani and his way of operating. Here are Biasin’s statements and thoughts.

Biasin begins:
“Milan’s problem is called Furlani. Or rather, his approach. And his stubbornness. And his resistance to any kind of ‘compromise.’ Furlani doesn’t compromise; he commands. And he doesn’t have to answer to anyone, not even the ownership, which trusts him blindly and lets him do as he pleases. Furlani is very good at selling and balancing the books, but Milan isn’t Baffo’s shop in Crema; it’s one of the most glorious clubs in world football, yet it’s treated like a profit-driven factory: you buy at 20 hoping to sell at 40. And if you manage to sell so-and-so at 40, great; otherwise, you’ll sell some prized asset at a higher figure. Competitiveness? Relatively important.”
Biasin continues to talk about Milan and Furlani:
"As for the fans, the current management is only moderately interested. And the same goes for some of its very recent hires, if it’s true, as it seems, that Tare has already been pushed into a corner (very little independence) and Allegri finds himself having to work with players who are potentially strong but aren’t ‘his’ players (and we’ll see if at least they bring him Rabiot)."
