In an editorial published on Sportitalia, journalist Alfredo Pedullà shared his opinion regarding AC Milan’s transfer market activity, focusing specifically on the strategy for selecting a new striker.
Pedullà’s words in the Sportitalia editorial:
"Milan had three months to sign Vlahovic, the only destination genuinely desired by the Serbian, yet they went on a dizzying detour, chasing other forwards under the orchestration of intermediary Paolo Busardò, who evidently has more influence than Max Allegri and even Tare. The matter is very simple: if you can sign Vlahovic for €20 million, and the player himself, despite what people say, is open to spreading the fee over €6–6.5 million per season, you have to do it without a second thought. Especially since it is a request from your coach, and from my perspective, when a coach asks, it should be granted in some way."
Pedullà continues:
"One final consideration: Milan is perfectly free to sign Harder, the talent is undeniable, but he shouldn’t become the first choice when there’s another option that is clearly more competitive. Above all, it makes no sense to wait for Sporting CP’s incoming operation to get the green light; it’s unclear when, how, or why. Essentially, you are Milan, and you cannot be led on a leash for days on end. I hope someone explains this to Furlani, but especially to the intermediary Busardò, who at this point could be sitting on the bench instead of Allegri, and that would be a definite jackpot."
