Alex Jimenez is ready to say goodbye to Milan. The Spanish full-back, who found little playing time under coach Massimiliano Allegri even during the summer, is now heading towards a departure from Milanello.
According to MilanNews.it, the Iberian defender is very close to Bournemouth, having given his full approval to the transfer. This leaves Roma, and especially Cesc Fabregas’ Como, who were the first to approach the player, out of the race.
Milan and Bournemouth are now negotiating the structure of the deal, which is expected to take shape as a loan with an obligation to buy under certain conditions. Real Madrid, however, cannot be left out of the equation, as they still hold a buy-back option on the player for next summer.
